I was in the mood to decorate this weekend so I tried out a thanksgiving tablescape. It came together with items around my house. I didn’t buy a single thing! It’s amazing what you can find lying around. You can see some fresh Rosemary from my window boxes, books from the coffee table, porcelain pumpkins from the china cabinet, and faux greenery from the bathroom. Full confession: This tablecloth isn’t actually a tablecloth- it’s a curtain from my entryway by this gallery wall!
A couple things to consider for a stunning Thanksgiving Tablescape:
Tip #1: When putting together your Thanksgiving tablescape, don’t be afraid to pull from around your house and around your yard!
Tip #2: Just remember, overwhelming the table with stuff might make a visual impact. But unless you’re doing a counter top buffet style meal, make sure you have room for the food! 😉
Tip #3: If you are planning for a larger gathering, use place cards at each setting to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome! Check out these sweet and simple printable place cards. Just cut them out, fold in half and write in your names. I think they’d be so perfect on your table!
